    The U.S. Census Bureau's source for population, housing, economic, and geographic data. It contains tables and maps for all geographies to the block level. Data from the 1990 Census and 2000 Census is available, 2010 Census will be available by the end of 2010. American Community Survey data beginning in 2000 and continuing to the present is also available.

    The Demographic Research Unit of the California Department of Finance is designated as the single official source of demographic data for state planning and budgeting.
